I’ll introduce myself, explain a bit about how I’m hoping the course will work, and why I want to teach it in the first place, and I’ll show a bit of a Buster Keaton Film–and maybe just a bit of another one, as well.
I’ll do a show and tell of the materials for the course, and introduce Blackboard, for those who haven’t been introduced to it already.
I’ll explain we have our own e-mail address for this class. Hopefully people will get used to using it.
’ll call the roll a couple of times so you can be amused by my difficulties in pronouncing your names. If I don’t have any problems, I may just invent a few to amuse you.
I’ll wish everyone a happy Labor Day Weekend, and hope to see them on Thursday the 9th of September. Our first two weeks are one class weeks... Things that make one go “hmmmm”.
